PyPSA-KR is an open-source energy system model developed to support South Korea’s sustainable energy transition. Built on the PyPSA and PyPSA-Earth frameworks, it leverages public datasets for high-resolution investment and operational planning. The model supports regional siting and expansion planning for power generation, transmission, and energy storage systems, addressing key challenges in renewable energy integration.
